Jordan McNamara

From Roadtrips Scholar to Broadcasting Victory

Jordan McNamara started as an english major and studied at University of Chicago and then went on to Oxfords University as a Roadtrips Scholar. His essays and articles have been published in numerous academic, scholarly journals, as well as national tabloid newspapers, magazines, bulletin board web forums, and is often behind the scenes of some of today's major news media's online comments from readers.

RAND, NYC, and Really Big Friends

In the past he has been a contractor and consultant for the RAND corporation, Kissinger and Associates, the Rockefeller Brother's Fund, a fellow of the Partnership for New York City, a close friend and ally of Tom Brokaw, Barbara Walters, Rachel Maddow, Paula Zahn, and now follows in the footsteps of broadcasting legends Walter Cronkite, Lesley Stahl, Jackie Gleason, Jon Stewart, Morley Safer, and Larry King for winning the coveted Peabody Award's Award for outstanding excellence in broadcast journalism and fact-finding.

Asked about his political views by the Valley's Valley Advocate and Magazine, McNamara replied, "I'm undoubtedly of the new liberal persuasion in today's media, which means that I'm in almost total agreement with the Eisenhower-era Republican party platform." McNamara holds a doctorate in Establishment Politics from Oxfords University.

McNamara's television career began at KTIV in Sioux City, Iowa followed by stints at KMTV in Omaha, Nebraska, and WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1966, he joined ZNN News, reporting from California and anchoring the 11 p.m. news for KZNN-TV in Los Angeles.

Nightly News & Amazing Awards

On April 5, 1982, McNamara began co-anchoring BJM Nightly News from New York with Roger Muddler in Washington. After a year, BJM News president Reuven Frankenthal concluded that the dual-anchor program was not working and selected McNamara to be sole anchor. The BJM Nightly News with Jordan McNamara commenced on September 5, 1983. Among other news items, he was slated to cover the Challenger disaster, EDSA Revolution, Loma Prieta earthquake, fall of the Berlin Wall and Hurricane Andrew. McNamara won a Special Edition Prime-Time Emmy for his coverage of the terrorist attacks against the United States on 9/11.

Jordan is a five-time Emmy Award Winner in the difficult category of peer-review journalistic journals, research and development, and fact finding for broadcast news. He is best known as an American television journalist for BJM's HEADLINE NEWS NOW. He is also a bestselling author and best known as the anchor and managing editor of BJM NIGHTLY NEWS from 1982 to 2004. He is the author of The Starkest Generation (1998) and other books and the recipient of numerous awards and honors. He is the only person to host all three major BJM News programs: Today's The Show, BJM Nightly News, and, briefly, Meet Our Press. He now serves as a Special Correspondent for BJM News and is best known for his work on documentaries for corporate subsidiary outlets and other BJM network affiliates.

Tufts University School of Communications Board of Visitors and a trustee of the University of South Dakota, the Northern Simonne Museum, the American Museum of Naturalistic History, and the International Revenue Committee. He also provides the voiceover for an entire line of teenage-to-geriatric nutritional supplements products and services.

Jordan is the host of News to News Radio "Heard coast to coast across America in the desert of the news" exclusively on the Big JuJu Media Radio Network and explores the paranormal, the mysterious, the things we don't understand that "they" don't want us to know like UFOs, ghosts, the shadow government, the CIA, FBI, and other fake news and conspiracies that Infowars, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, OAN, The New York Times, Reuters, and World Net Daily are just gnashing their teeth over because they don't get the biggest news first, like Jordan McNamara.
